Proof of Insurance

In order to hire from us you must have equipment insurance, most production companies already have this in place, so we'll just need a scan of your "hired in" equipment policy stating the valid date and total insured value. Clients who don't have insurance can get a one off or short-term policy by searching for "short term hired in equipment insurance" online, some recommendations have been made on the main account setup page.

We need to validate your identity before any hire can be made. We can continue to set up an account but will not be able to hire to you until proof of ID is supplied and verified, this can take 48 hours, if your hire is urgent we may not be able to process your account in time.

📅 Booking & Hire Period

Hire begins at 9:30am and ends at 5:30pm unless otherwise agreed.
You may be charged for late returns or cancellations, especially within 48 hours of the hire start.
A minimum hire period of 1 day applies to all bookings.
Late returns incur daily charges. Incomplete returns may incur replacement or extension charges.

💳 Payment & Deposits

Payment is due before or at the time of collection for your first hire.
A security deposit may be required and will be refunded if equipment is returned on time and in good condition.
Late payments may incur fees and interest.

📦 Collection & Return

Equipment must be collected and returned by you unless delivery is agreed.
A photo checklist is provided, please check it on collection and return.
Media (cards, drives, etc.) must be returned on time, any and all media will be wiped immediately after return, please ensure you make a backup.

💾 Data Responsibility

You are responsible for backing up and verifying all data before returning media.
We accept no responsibility for data lost, corrupted, or unrecoverable after return.

🛠 Equipment Use & Care

Equipment must be used appropriately, safely, and only for its intended purpose.
Damage beyond normal wear and tear is chargeable.
We offer guidance but final responsibility lies with the hirer for correct setup.

🔐 Insurance & Risk

You are responsible for the equipment during the hire, from collection to return.
You must have suitable hired in equipment insurance covering for damage, loss, and liability.
You will be charged for repair or replacement of any damaged or missing items.

❌ Cancellation

You can cancel in advance, but fees may apply.
We may cancel a hire with 48 hours’ notice if needed.
