Personal Profile
I am an experienced director of photography for documentary & reality broadcasting with a comprehensive technical knowledge on a wide range of broadcast equipment. I’ve worked in broadcast television since 2004 specialising as a location cameraman working both as a single camera operator or as part of a team. I am an experienced Jimmy Jib operator & I have specialist knowledge in minicam installation, operation & custom builds for documentary, secret filming & extreme events. I am based in the UK on the south coast but have experience working internationally & working as part of small mobile units packing light to move from location to location with ease.
I am employed full time as a partner of Mad Dogs Television supervising equipment hire logistics and maintenance as well as providing support to our crews around the world. On location I work responsively ready to react to developing narratives & act on my own initiative. I am a calm, observant & always considering how best to cover sequences from start to finish.
