Molly isn’t a camera operator, sound recordist, editor or technical supervisor. She is however our amazing office co-coordinator and handles our day to day emails calls and logistics. Having pestered us relentlessly for work experience, we relented and set up a work experience week for her. She then canceled on us as supposedly her college course didn’t need her to undertake a work placement now. Having thrown her information in the bin, she cheekily got back in touch a few months later and asked if we offered apprenticeships. We didn’t, but thought there’s no reason why we couldn’t! So Molly joined us in mid 2016 on the good ship Mad Dogs. Undertaking a city and guilds logistics level apprenticeship she has become an integral member of the team.
When she was younger (she still is!) she was already thinking about a career in the media, with an interest in photography and journalism she had considered a university course in the area, but we suggested on the job training with us might be more fun, and the rest they, say is history.
